Let’s celebrate and connect

A Luncheon With Friends | Celebrating 10 Years of Preparing Energy Leaders of Tomorrow

May 7th | Junior League of Houston | 11:30 a.m.

We here at Friends of Energy are thrilled to celebrate 10 years of Energy Institute High School.

This unique school, located in the heart of Houston’s Third Ward, is an opportunity for Houston ISD’s students to become fully immersed in the world of engineering and energy, through EIHS’ comprehensive cross-curricular project based learning (PBL) model. The program challenges students to view their learning through the lens of real-world problems to be solved. At its best, it connects students to the real world and real industry around them.

Over a delightful lunch at the Junior League of Houston, guests will enjoy:

  • A robust panel discussion on —

    • The current state of the energy industry

    • The skills needed from its next generation of employees

    • The way EIHS has and can continue to bridge the skill gaps

  • A look into how our Houston energy and STEM community can get directly connected with the school

Proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the dynamic work being done at EIHS.

Purchase your table (seats 10) or individual seat(s) here.
